Online MQ vs. traditional MQ

If you are already using queuing services you are probably familiar with conventional MQ products.

Three items make the Online MQ Service more effective than traditional queuing services:

  1. No need to install any queuing software/server; no need to be responsible for OMQ server uptime, upgrades and maintenance; no license fees. The saving in resources, time and money is substantial.
  2. No need to be concerned with the communication route (network) between business partners; they can be anywhere in the world, and only require an active Internet connection, wired or wireless.
  3. OMQ Service can serve as an Internet gateway to your organization, building Web services around it, helping to find new business opportunities.

Queue Broadcast Service

In addition to offering simple message queuing, OnlineMQ now offers a new Queue Broadcast Service.

The Queue Broadcast Service can send a message from one queue to many queues, based on message rules and possibly over different Queue Managers.
